GOVERNANCE
Preshal has
a Board of Trustees which, with the Director and the project managers,
seeks to ensure that the Trust operates efficiently and effectively
in order to meet the very real needs of Preshal's clients. The trustees
have a monthly meeting address governamce issues but, in addition, there
are sub-committees devoted to particular aspects of Preshal's work and
these deal with matters such as the new building and fund-raising.

is a privilege to be the President of The Preshal Trust, a recognised
Scottish charity, which seeks to tackle head-on, the problems
of poverty, alcohol and drug addiction, low literacy and numeracy
skills, depression and low self-esteem in Govan, one of the most
